S. Senanayaka,S. W. R. D. Bandaranayaka,J. R. Jayawardhana, R. Premadasa and Mahinda Rajapaksa are the only leaders who presided over and ruled our country. Others made a joyful, indulgent and luxurious living for themselves, families and friends. Sorry for innocent Dudly who didn't do any harm or expropriations. He was kind and not courrputed but he didn't contribute. However, I sense some honesty and momentum in General Sarath Fonseka. The military laid down their lives to win the war. It is not about the party or the president but about the people and what's best for them. The people won the war...the common soldier is our true hero. I am sure they can wipe out corruption,nationalism and this political culture that is immersed with violence. Wiping out terrorism is just the begining. It will not usher in prosperity and justice. That I believe is the real war in a nation where corruption at the highest levels gave room for terrorism and gross national corruption that made us a third world nation. Good move.
